The Stork Craft Monza II is a 2-in-1 convertible crib, as it converts from a crib to a full-sized bed. The mattress can be adjusted to 3 levels. Its transitional style provides a mix of classic and modern design. The Monza II is available in 5 different finishes: white, black, cherry, cognac, and oak. All sides are fixed for protection, and all the U.S. and Canadian safety standards were met. The dimensions are: 59.5 x 29.5 x 36 inches ; 48.5 pounds. Stork Craft backs the Monza II with a 1-year limited warranty.

Pros

The Monza II has a nice modern style with the curved edges and bowed posts. It’s built very low to the ground, which helps parents place the baby down into the crib and also makes it more sturdy. The five different finishes allow you to choose one that is well suited for your nursery.

Here is a customer review regarding the assembly and Stork Craft’s customer support:

This crib arrived swiftly but, to our disappointment, was lacking two key parts (brackets) so we had to call the manufacturer’s customer service line and request the missing parts. The parts arrived exactly one week later and we eagerly assembled the crib. It took my husband about 1.5 hrs to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow.

Stork Craft is one of the top brands for baby furniture, so should expect to get solid customer service if necessary. You can also expect it to be well-made and durable. The crib is JPMA certified and meets the top safety standards.

The price is very reasonable and on the low-end for convertible cribs.

Cons

The one downside I see is the inability to convert into a toddler bed or daybed. Going straight from a crib to a full-sized bed doesn’t seem logical.

Summary

The Monza II has a nice modern design that meets all the safety standards. You get to choose from a handful of finishes. It’s sturdy, and is priced on the low-end. The downside is that it can’t be converted to a toddler bed or day bed.
