The First Choice Cape Cod III has a classic style and converts into a toddler bed, daybed, and a full-sized bed. The toddler rail is included in the package. Featured on the top rail is layered molding and a grooved wainscot panel. It has 4-level mattress adjustment, and meets the ASTM and JPMA safety standards. Pros

The four mattress adjustment is a big plus…there are a few cribs out there now with four levels but not many. It really allows parents to find a level that makes it easy for them to reach down into the crib, plus it helps adjust to a growing child.

The style of the crib is very old-fashioned and the finish is very pretty. It’s a unique style that I have yet to really see very often among convertible cribs.

Customers reported no problems putting the crib together, it takes on average around 30-45 minutes. The instructions are easy to follow and there are plenty of pictures to help you along the way.

Being JPMA and ASTM certified, you can feel comfortable knowing that your baby is safe. The backboard actually makes it a bit safer when placed against the wall. This way, the baby can’t get their foot/arm stuck back there.

It’s a true cherry wood color, despite appearing a bit orange in the pictures.

Another plus is that the toddler rail is included, with some cribs it has to be purchased separately.

Cons

One complaint from a few customers was that the rails aren’t very sturdy, despite tightening it several times over. You wish they’re were more than two color selections.
